How to stop a running development server on windows vscode

How do I terminate the current running development server on windows vscode

You can terminate with the Trash icon or click anywhere within your vscode terminal then on your keyboard press CTRL+ C That's the shortcut from the default Terminal application and it also works in Visual Studio Code

Trying any of the methods will end the current runnning development server
